Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen
Gender: Male & Female candidates (depending on the entry scheme)
Educational Qualification:
For Sailor Entry (SSR/AA): 10+2 with Maths & Physics (with Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science preferred)
For Officer Entry: Graduation/B.Tech depending on the specific entry scheme
Marital Status: Unmarried candidates only
Age Limit:
Sailor Entry (SSR/AA): 17 to 20 years
Officer Entry (NDA/Naval Academy): 16.5 to 19.5 years
Graduate Entries (CDS, INET, etc.): Generally 19 to 24 years (varies by entry type)
Selection Procedure:
Written Examination: Objective-type questions covering Maths, Science, English, and General Awareness
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
1.6 km run within 7 minutes
20 squats (Uthak Baithak)
10 push-ups
Medical Examination: Must meet physical and medical standards set by Indian Navy
Interview/SSB (for officer entry): Five-day assessment process including psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interview
