HOW TO JOIN ASSAM RIFFLES

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Indian Citizen

Education Qualification:

Minimum 10th pass (Matriculation) for most trades

12th pass or specific technical qualifications may be required for specialized roles (e.g., Clerk, Radio Mechanic)

Physical Standards:

Height, chest, and weight requirements as per regional criteria

Candidates must pass the prescribed Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 23 years
(Age relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government norms)

Selection Procedure:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Includes running, push-ups, and other tasks

Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height, chest, and weight measurements

Written Examination – Objective-based questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics

Medical Examination – Fitness and health screening
