HOW TO JOIN BSF

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Must be a citizen of India

Educational Qualification:

For Constable (GD): Minimum 10th pass from a recognized board

For Technical & Tradesman roles: 10th/ITI/12th depending on the trade

Physical Standards:

Specific height, chest, and weight standards based on region

Must qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 23 Years
(Age relaxation as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC categories)

Selection Procedure:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Timed running and physical tasks

Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height, chest, and weight measurements

Written Examination – Based on General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Math

Medical Examination – Ensuring candidates are medically fit
