HOW TO JOIN ITBP
Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India
Educational Qualification:
Minimum 10th pass for General Duty Constable
10+2 pass or equivalent for technical/trade roles (e.g., Head Constable, Sub Inspector)
Physical Standards:
Height, chest, and weight requirements vary by category and region
Must qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 23 Years
(Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC categories as per government rules)
Selection Procedure:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Running, long jump, high jump
Physical Standard Test (PST) – Measurement of height, chest, and weight
Written Examination – General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability
Medical Examination – Conducted by authorized medical officers
