The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) plays a crucial role in handling emergencies, natural disasters, and rescue operations across the state. SDRF personnel are trained to act swiftly, save lives, and support disaster management efforts during critical times.

HOW TO JOIN SDRF
Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Indian Citizen
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass or equivalent (some states may require 12th pass for specific roles)
Physical Fitness: Candidates must be in good health and able to pass physical efficiency tests.
Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of rescue operations or prior NCC/Fire Service experience can be an advantage (not mandatory).
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 25 years (Relaxation applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC)
Selection Procedure:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Running, climbing, swimming (in some cases), and strength drills
Medical Examination – Health and physical condition check
Written Examination – Based on general knowledge, disaster management basics, and reasoning
